very nice.
i didn't prepare my anus
now i have to change my pants :(
pretty sweet
i liked it alot, tho i think i was disappointed when the intro built up to enormous epic proportions and then dropped into a wobble that was more chill sounding, not that it wasn't good i just expected... i guess a more grimier sounding wobble? idk that could be just personal preference anyways. but i loved it great job.
keep makin them fatty beats.
An enemy approaches!
I really liked the buildup, i was just playing elder scrolls: morrowind and now i feel like i need to figure out how to switch out the battle music with this lol.
just rename and replace :P
cool
heh i was just re-playing morrowind, nice job.
cool
a nice slowed down remix of marble zone
Thank you
Nice!
I think i might be too afraid to drive to this music because i would be too distracted by the pure awesomeness.
anyways i really like how the song evolves, really pleasing to the ears.
thank you for the review :D.. hah yeah its really fast paced i bet it might be pretty distracting to some people XD
nice sound
sounds very mysterious nice use of delay
very cool
Doing a waltz was a great idea! Sounds awesome I can see why it was picked for the top 8 in the contest, Personally i would have liked to see it be a little longer but hey love it anyways
GL in the contest XD
I'm so glad you liked it, and I can't believe I made it to the top eight! There are so many amazing tunes in this competition!
I used the Zelda overworld theme (one of my favorite video game tunes) as a guide for how long an old school loop should be. The looped portion of that song is just over thirty seconds long. Since my melodies aren't QUITE as catchy as Koji Kondo's, I was pretty much trying to make the shortest loop possible that wouldn't make the listener want to start drilling holes in their skull by the time it had looped a few times.
I promised myself I wouldn't listen to the other entries until I had a rough draft of my tune done 'cause I didn't want to be influenced by the other pieces. In retrospect, that was silly since this piece sounds absolutely nothing like the other pieces. The most worrisome part for me after listening to them all being that this piece is the shortest one in the competition when I thought most entries would be loops less than a minute long. Oops.
I intend to add the melody I came up with for this to a much longer waltz I've been working on and add some harmonies back in. So, there will be a longer version eventually.
Good luck to you as well, sir!
imma make some songs, and put em on here... WORD
